Feb 6: Meals

I am aware that I did not post meals from yesterday. The sickness is messing with my mind! I don't even really remember everything I ate....

So we will go with today.

Breakfast: Tea

Lunch:...coffee and like, 3 grilled shrimp

Dinner: Today was one of my cheats- The superbowl. I actually didn't eat that much... like 4 onion rings, and 6 boneless chicken wings? Not too bad.

This morning I went back up to 167. Booooo!

Feb 5: Weigh In

This morning I weighed in at 165.4 again.

I didn't lose or gain anything from yesterday.

4.6 down (still), 15.4 to go.

3 days down, 26 to go.

Feb 4: Meals

Breakfast: Hot tea

Lunch: Grilled chicken sandwich

Dinner: Small bowl of homemade potato soup with a piece of wheat french bread.

So yeah, this "no carbs at night" rule isn't going well, lol.

Feb 4: Weigh In

This morning I checked in at 165.4.

That is a 1.6 pound loss from yesterday, so that is still really good! Anything over a pound in a day is something to be excited about really.

4.6 pounds down, 15.4 to go!

Feb 3: Meals

Breakfast: I actually skipped breakfast this morning, not something I usually do, because I slept until 12:30.

Lunch: Cup of roasted red pepper and smoked gouda soup, with half of a tenderloin salad. Cheese isn't the healthiest but the cheese was minimal.

Dinner: Leftovers from lunch. Another cup of soup with the other half of my salad, and half of a wheat sandwich. Dinner at 7.

Today I weighed in at 167!

That is 3 pounds in one day, whoo hoo!!

Feb 2, 2011: Meals

Breakfast: Kashi Blueberry Whole Grain Waffles with a little sugar free Syrup

Lunch: Turkey sandwich (no cheese), pineapple, and a couple bites of blueberry crunch

Dinner: half of a bowl of white chicken chili with crackers.


Day 1 and I already broke my rule about no bad carbs at night. Unfortunately, It is because I am sick. The flu is no fun at all. This also means that I cannot exercise, according to my doctor... the Feb 150 is getting off to a rough start.

Feb 2, 2011: Weigh in!

I weigh 170 pounds. Yuck.

Feb1 2011

I was supposed to start this shindig on Feb 1. However, I had a professional development seminar to attend and so I had to eat out... sigh.

So, Feb 2 is my official starting day now! I mean, Feb 2 to March 2.. sort of makes since anyway. It is only 29 days.

29 days. That's it. Not even a whole month. Here are to delineations of this project. What I am doing is a sort of South Beach thing. My carbs are very limited and the ones I am eating are better than most, like carb balance wraps and fiber one cereal with berries. So here are the rules.
1. "Healthy" carbs allowed with breakfast and lunch.
2. At dinner, NO CARBS. (By the way, yes I know that veggies and fruits are carbs, but I mean bready carbs). None, at all.
3. NO eating out, except for these two already predetermined circumstances: Super Bowl and Valentines's Day.
4. Eat dinner before 6:30. I go to bed at 10:30 and I don't want to eat dinner less than four hours before.
5. Eat a very small healthy snack, like a bowl of fruit, at about 10. This gets my body working while I sleep.
6. Play JUST DANCE 2 for at least 30 minutes/ 6 songs. Work it up to something harder/ longer. By February 15, this should be an hour long workout.
7. Two posts here a day (or maybe 1 edited one)- a morning weigh in, and an evening description of everything I ate and my exercise.

I feel like I am in AA. Anyway, these are my rules. Now onto the numbers.

I have 29 days. I am 170 pounds exactly. I want to be 150. This is the "February 150". Like a swimming race, but a weight loss race.

My true goal is to get back to 125. At least at 150 though, I am not overweight, I can fit in more clothes, and I don't feel like a dumpling.

At Disney, I will eat anything I want. That's what I have to remember. 29 days and I can have whatever I want. But for now... the February 150 is on!

I forgot this existed....

I have never been good at blogging. I forget about it, don't feel like talking about it, or don't have anything to say. However, I am currently in the midst of trying to achieve a difficult feat: losing as close to 20 pounds as possible in the month of February. Well.. I say February, but I really mean March 2 because.....



That's right... Disney! Me, Brandon, my Mom, my Dad, Dustin and my Nanny are all going to Florida for a wedding, and since we are going to be there anyway... we are going to Disney! I haven't been since 2007 and that was only for a day. Then it was 2006 when I worked there, but I actually only went to the parks twice, and bailed almost every day while my parents were there (wasn't as appealing at that time). Before that was like, 2004... do it has been 7 years since a real and true Disney vacation for me, and I am so excited!!! Brandon has never been and I really really hope he loves it!

Anyway, so before Disney, I am trying to lose 20 pounds. 20 pounds in 30 days is not easy! It is even less easy if Brandon, my family and I are the only ones who know about it! I know no one reads this blog, but I am making it public, so that I know someone COULD read it. Hopefully that will keep me on track.
