Feb1 2011

I was supposed to start this shindig on Feb 1. However, I had a professional development seminar to attend and so I had to eat out... sigh.

So, Feb 2 is my official starting day now! I mean, Feb 2 to March 2.. sort of makes since anyway. It is only 29 days.

29 days. That's it. Not even a whole month. Here are to delineations of this project. What I am doing is a sort of South Beach thing. My carbs are very limited and the ones I am eating are better than most, like carb balance wraps and fiber one cereal with berries. So here are the rules.
1. "Healthy" carbs allowed with breakfast and lunch.
2. At dinner, NO CARBS. (By the way, yes I know that veggies and fruits are carbs, but I mean bready carbs). None, at all.
3. NO eating out, except for these two already predetermined circumstances: Super Bowl and Valentines's Day.
4. Eat dinner before 6:30. I go to bed at 10:30 and I don't want to eat dinner less than four hours before.
5. Eat a very small healthy snack, like a bowl of fruit, at about 10. This gets my body working while I sleep.
6. Play JUST DANCE 2 for at least 30 minutes/ 6 songs. Work it up to something harder/ longer. By February 15, this should be an hour long workout.
7. Two posts here a day (or maybe 1 edited one)- a morning weigh in, and an evening description of everything I ate and my exercise.

I feel like I am in AA. Anyway, these are my rules. Now onto the numbers.

I have 29 days. I am 170 pounds exactly. I want to be 150. This is the "February 150". Like a swimming race, but a weight loss race.

My true goal is to get back to 125. At least at 150 though, I am not overweight, I can fit in more clothes, and I don't feel like a dumpling.

At Disney, I will eat anything I want. That's what I have to remember. 29 days and I can have whatever I want. But for now... the February 150 is on!
